Our in-house team of hardware, firmware and software engineers respond to technical challenges across sectors as diverse as medical, automotive and consumer product. MANUFACTURING
Design for manufacture; a principle that forms the basis and foundation of everything we do here at Designworks. Manufacturing intent is central to our philosophy, ensuring every team member considers each aspect of design realisation ensures design integrity and function is maintained through to its products. With a dedicated team of engineers based in Hong Kong, along with vendor partners, speciality process and a flexible approach we are able to manage design for manufacture right through it’s life cycle. Designworks manufactures for a wide variety of UK and Global clients spanning a variety of sectors.
CHARACTER DESIGN & ScULPTING
Our digital sculpting studio have been sculpting licensed characters, collectables and props for more than two decades. With extensive expertise in character design, sculpting, prototyping and manufacture we have created original 3D sculpts and production data for a multitude of licenses and big brands. Our manufacturing team has produced and supplied over 10 million figurines!
PACKAGING DESIGN
From a compact protective environment for shipping, to eye-catching presentation at point of purchase, we understand how important the right packaging is. Our in-house laser cutting and thermoforming facilities mean we can move from a rough concept to a crisp dimensioned prototype in a matter of hours. We’ve delivered structural packaging solutions for high volume FMCG products across to medical devices.
