FOOT GAUGE RANGE
With over 20 years in use, our range of footgauges for Clarks shoes are a great example of how enduring a simple but effective approach can be.
An assembly of aluminium and moulded parts means it’s lightweight and easy to move around the shop floor but retains the strength to withstand being stepped on and off all day long.
Alongside traditional foot length measurement, Clarks shoes offer variable width sizing so the footgauge additionally loops around the customer’s foot to measure it’s width.
The size range covers infants up to adult sizes, so for loyal customers this is sometimes the only experience of foot measurement they’ve ever had (or needed). As Clarks’ customers have grown-up, so has it’s presence in different markets, and the product has been re-issued for branches across Europe, North America and Asia, selling over 100,000 units to date.
Designed and engineered in the U.K., our Far East team have been handling production and fulfilment with Clarks ever since.
A finger loop on the infant product means it can be held securely even when measuring Clarks’ liveliest little customers. The product was prototyped using the technologies of its time, including wax printing and vacuum casting.
