ZINGO STEEL PLAY
For over 75 years HAGS have blended Swedish heritage, skill and knowledge to craft incredible outdoor spaces – from sports and play equipment to street furniture.
One of our many design and development projects undertaken with SMP Ltd and later HAGS, the Zingo steel play range takes children on an outer-space adventure, with bright neon colours and fun materials and surfaces. It is the outcome of a concept development process exploring many fun and friendly interactive forms inspired by plant and animal life.
The distinctive ‘blob’ feature was maintained from initial brainstorm sketches through scale models to design engineering and eventual installation in playgrounds across Europe.
