Coronavirus E-Barrier

In response to the Covid epidemic, Designworks has developed an intelligent solution to managing people's movement in public spaces.

The e-barrier employs Lidar technology to sense movement in a bi-directional coverage, then using an elegant integrated wireless LAN hardware solution, the barrier reports it’s findings to a centralized interface. This unique solution can be set-up in minutes allowing monitoring of multiple access points simultaneously. The e-barrier can be configured to count a pre-determined number of people into and out-of a space, keeping a cumulative, running total across each entry point.

A simple Proof of concept rig has been developed by our in-house electronic engineers, initial tests have proven very successful.
